Tenjho Tenge
What more could an anime fan ask for? Adrenaline-fueled fights, beautiful half-naked girls, and plenty of plot twists are in store for you when watching this hyperkinetic anime series. Souichiro thought he was good with his fists until he arrived at Todo Academy, a school chock-full of extreme martial artists!

Tenjho TengeWhat follows is a good thrashing, but, do not despair! With stamina that would astound Rocky Balboa, fight after fight is also flight after flight as he additionally attempts to get away from his bride to be! The increasing complex storyline will drag you in, and the action will keep you hooked, plus, there's plenty of eye-candy/fan-service. In all, everything an anime series needs to be a rousing success!

Ultramaniac - Magical Girl
Despite the title, this anime series has nothing to with the popular Ultraman franchise. This is about schoolgirls, not supermen. Ayu Takeshi is a popular student at her local high school. She has a secret. She is so crushing on Tetushi Kaji, the MVP of the school's baseball team. Her new friend Nina Sakura, is a transfer student. She too has a secret. She's from a magical kingdom, and is studying to be a witch.
Ultramaniac
Adapted from the manga by Wataru Yoshizumi (creator of Marmalade Boy), UltraManiac sports comic high jinks in the spirit of Sabrina The Teenage Witch. This romantic comedy is guaranteed to leave you Bewitched.

If you ask me, Tohru Honda is taking this whole ingÈnue thing a little too far. After her mother died, the 16-year-old has taken to living in a tent in the woods. Even Jane Eyre didn't go that far. Her hunky classmate, Yuki Sohma, learns of her plight. He hires her as a housekeeper to his family estate. Fans of gothic romance will expect the ingÈnue to uncover a sinister secret like a family curse or something.

Fruits Basket Box SetThey won't be disappointed. Yuki and his relatives, Shigure and Kyo are possessed. They transform into animals every now and then. Not overly cartoony ones like they do in Ranma 1/2. Just animals that correspond to the signs of the Zodiac.

The young beauty is surrounded by beasts in the wildly popular Fruits Baskets. This anime is based on the manga by Natsuki Takaya. It's a delightful romp that asks the question, "Can a perfectly normal ingÈnue find happiness when the people giving her free room and board shed frequently?"

Kaena - The Prophecy

Kaena - The Prophecy
Eye-popping, enormously imaginative visuals populate this anime-ish CGI action-adventure film from France. An all star voice cast is headed by Kirsten Dunst as Kaena, a rebellious teen who discovers the secret of the strange world she and her people inhabit.

Kaena - The ProphecyBarely released by Sony Pictures last summer, it's an underground hit on DVD. It's got everything a film needs -- a strong female lead for the girls, and she's a hot, barely dressed chick for the guys, monsters, aliens, strange modes of flight, and more bugs than you can shake a stick at. It might take more than one viewing to fully comprehend the plot -- it's a French film after all -- but it's well worth the effort as this flick is simply outstanding!

Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask (for PS2)
This is an RPG game with a unique concept -- you create a character to represent yourself, and then that character meets up with and tags along with the cast of Inu Yasha, helping them to complete a quest. Along the way, you build a relationship with the characters. Featuring the English Dub crew of Richard Cox, Moneca Stori and Jillian Michaels, it is essentially like playing an episode of the TV series as seen on Cartoon Network.

Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask (for PS2)Based on your actions and who you choose to spend time with (or don't choose to spend time with) you can get one of 12 possible endings. (In order to get the second ending with that person, you first have to play through the game, get that persons first ending (which unlocks their second ending), then play through the game again to view the second ending.) This is what gives the game it's replay value. After all, you want to see all the endings don't you?! For fans of the show, this game is an absolute MUST!!!!

Gundam: The Origin, Vol. 1
Viz Comics has republished Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's original Gundam as a series of graphic novels. This is the "real" Gundam, where Amuro Ray battles Char Aznable, and White Base must defend itself from continual attacks of the Zeon forces.

Gundam Robot...Extraordinary hardcore sci-fi, this is the Gundam that created the powerful franchise and is still the best of the bunch! Viz's manga treatment has been professionally "flipped" to read left to right, and the larger format allows better appreciation of YAS's excellent artwork.

Get the jump on the latest Miyazaki film release by wrapping your hands around this Jo Hisaishi soundtrack from the film. A Japanese import, all the tracks are titled in Japanese, so unless you've got your Kana dictionary handy, you're going to have a hard time reading the liner notes!

Regardless, it's a Hisaishi soundtrack, so therefore, really good tunes are guaranteed. His unique blend of electronica and traditional instruments, highlighted by woodwinds will remind you of many of his previous soundtracks, particularly Spirited Away. In all, enjoyable stuff.
