If you thought Animation Runner Kuromi was cute, and Ping Pong Club was 'da bomb', you might want to check this out as well. The no-holds-barred nuttiness of this sci-fi parody (from director Hitoyuki Matsui of InuYasha fame) seems to combine every anime you've ever seen along with every bizarre cliche that is endemic to the genre.
From magical girls and crazed robot-driving scientists to live-action super-hero shows like Ultraman and Power Rangers, Dokkoida!? parodies the full spectrum of sensory overloaded pop-culture that has come to typify the rest of the world's view of Japanese entertainment. That's a fancy way of saying it's HYSTERICAL!
