Manga Review
First a little background on the author and artist: Masamune Shirow is a genius. He has so thoroughly created a realistic universe of cyberpunk, his are the manga and films that everyone uses as reference when trying to make stuff like "The Matrix". You've probably heard of his more well-known works such as Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell.
Now take a little trip back in time to his earlier work. No less brilliant, but a lot more weird. Dominion is an ecological-dystopian-cyberpunk-police-adventure/comedy as only Shirow can create.
Our future looks fairly horrific, with vast bio-constructed cities, the air is toxic enough to force citizens to wear oxygen masks and crime is so severe that the cops drive tanks! It would be like Judge Dredd if it wasn't drawn in such a cutsey style.
When a mysterious winged girl with the power to cleanse the poisoned air is kidnapped by the villainous Buaku, police mini-tank commander Leona Ozaki, her tank Bonaparte and her lovesick partner Al must confront the arch-criminal and his catgirl molls - the beautiful and deadly Annapuma and Unipuma - before Buaku's master plan kicks into gear.
Please be aware that in order to really enjoy the manga, you also would probably have needed to see the OAVs, originally distributed in the USA by Central Park Media. However, that doesn't stop you from picking up the story by various other means, and enjoying the luscious artwork that Shirow draws.

Created by Masamune Shirow (Appleseed, Ghost In The Shell, Black Magic M-66), this thrilling, action-packed comedy-adventure will leave you on the edge of your seat, packed with non-stop, in-your-face action, mecha galore, curvaceous villains, dizzying scenery, and more!
 Our tale takes place in the year 2010. The setting is a massive, gritty, dank city whose mighty towers reach into the murky skies. Our protagonists are the Tank Police, a group of tough, street-savvy cops who will do whatever it takes to bring the bad guys in-even at the cost of breaking the law themselves. Their opponents: the Buaku Gang, who consist of sexy twin sisters Annapuna and Unipuna, as well as their leader, the pug-faced cyborg Buaku. This sets the stage for absolute pandemonium that is guaranteed to make your head spin.
This flick is a jaw-dropping ride that will command your attention, and a must-have for Anime fans everywhere. It's 40 minutes of eye-popping, mouth-watering visuals, non-stop action, hysterical slapstick, and a healthy dose of sexual eye-candy tossed in for good measure. What more do you need?
